Product Leader – Insurance
Remote (US)
$150-250k Base+ Equity
Our client is a fast-growing Series A insurtech building modern property and personal-lines products, focused on rethinking how insurance programs are developed, priced, underwritten, and delivered.
As Product Leader, you’ll lead the full insurance product lifecycle and play a key role in shaping pricing strategy, underwriting frameworks, program design, and overall product expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute end-to-end product strategy across property, homeowners, landlord, and manufactured home lines
- Lead insurance product development including filings, pricing, forms, underwriting rules, and new state launches
- Manage actuarial workflows, rate revisions, and program profitability
- Oversee underwriting operations and collaborate closely with internal underwriters
- Partner with reinsurance brokers to build new programs and structure reinsurance support
- Serve as the primary interface with carrier partners across reporting, compliance, and product governance
Qualifications:
- 6+ years in insurance product management with deep experience across personal lines property
- Strong background in state filings, pricing, rating, underwriting, and program development
- Experience within property, homeowners, landlord, E&S, or catastrophe-exposed markets
- Manufactured home insurance experience (huge plus)
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with actuarial, underwriting, carriers, and reinsurance partners
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, early-stage or growth-stage environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and ownership mindset
