Director of Demand Generation – Lending Business Unit
About the Role
A fast-growing fintech company is hiring a Director of Demand Generation to lead customer and user acquisition within its Lending Business Unit.
This is a hands-on leadership role — ideal for someone who loves to build and execute campaigns while also setting the broader growth vision. You’ll be responsible for designing and managing full-funnel marketing programs, testing new channels, optimizing performance, and scaling a high-performing demand gen engine.
You’ll partner closely with Leadership, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Operations to deliver campaigns that move the needle on pipeline and revenue. If you thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and want to see your ideas executed quickly with measurable results, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do

Own the demand generation strategy and execution for the lending business — from channel planning to campaign launch to ongoing optimization.

Build and manage full-funnel campaigns (paid digital, SEO/SEM, email nurture, ABM, events, partnerships, and more) that directly generate qualified pipeline.

Take a hands-on approach in setting up, launching, and managing campaigns while ensuring results are tracked and reported effectively.

Develop scalable processes and frameworks to measure ROI, track pipeline influence, and continually improve performance.

Partner closely with Sales and Revenue teams to align on pipeline goals, deploy effective programs, and accelerate deal cycles.

Collaborate cross-functionally to refine messaging, targeting, and conversion strategies across the funnel.

Build and lead a high-performing demand generation team, balancing short-term execution with long-term scalability.

Stay on top of emerging channels, tactics, and tools — testing aggressively and doubling down on what works.
What We’re Looking For

6–10 years of demand generation experience in high-growth environments with a proven track record of directly influencing revenue.

Hands-on expertise with digital channels (paid media, SEO/SEM, lifecycle/email, ABM) and a willingness to execute directly.

Experience scaling demand gen programs through smart use of data, marketing technology, and process optimization.

Strong analytical mindset — comfortable with funnel metrics, performance tracking, and iterative experimentation.

Demonstrated leadership skills, including experience managing and mentoring marketing team members.

Excellent communicator and collaborator who partners effectively with Sales, Product, and Operations.

Entrepreneurial and resourceful, with a test-and-learn mindset and a bias for action.

Bonus: Background in fintech, lendtech, or high-growth SaaS companies (Series A and beyond).
