As the Head of Talent, you will own and drive our talent acquisition strategy, refine our hiring practices, and lead a team of 3-5 recruiters, sourcers, and recruiting coordinators. You will work closely with leadership and hiring managers to align talent initiatives with business objectives, ensuring we build a world-class team that supports our growth. This is an opportunity to play a foundational role on a leadership team that values and prioritizes talent as a key driver of success.
This is a hybrid position. Our team is in-office 3 days a week (Mon, Tue, Thu) in New York City, NY.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to support company growth.
- Define and implement best-in-class hiring practices for efficiency, inclusivity, and a strong candidate experience.
- Hire, manage, and mentor a team of 3-5 recruiters and talent specialists initially, driving performance and growth.
- Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs and build talent pipelines.
- Enhance employer brand through social media, events, and partnerships.
- Use analytics to track performance, optimize processes, and improve hiring outcomes.
- Evaluate and implement recruiting tools and systems for efficiency.
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience from initial contact to onboarding.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of scaling recruiting operations in a high-growth environment, in tech or SaaS.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Deep understanding of modern hiring practices, talent market trends, and employer branding strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive hiring initiatives across the organization.
- Experience implementing and optimizing recruiting tools, ATS platforms, and sourcing strategies.
- Passion for building diverse, high-performing teams.
