Compensation: $150,000 base salary | $300,000 OTE

About the Role
The company is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead outbound sales and net-new ISV partner acquisition. This individual contributor role involves the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—with a focus on identifying high-potential software partners and forming strategic, value-driven partnerships. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of the payments and SaaS ecosystems, a hunter mindset, and experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
Key Responsibilities

Source, engage, and close new ISV partnerships to support the company’s go-to-market strategy

Manage the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting to contract execution

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified ISV opportunities

Craft compelling, customized pitches and partnership proposals

Collaborate cross-functionally with product, legal, and executive teams to structure deals

Deliver market insights to inform commercial and product strategy
Qualifications

7+ years in business development, sales, or partnerships within payments or SaaS

Proven ability to close complex deals with software companies or platforms

Strong understanding of embedded payments, PayFac models, and the broader payments ecosystem

Strategic thinker with strong execution and pipeline ownership

Highly self-motivated and effective in fast-moving, minimally structured environments

Excellent communicator with top-tier negotiation and relationship-building skills
