About the Company
We’re a high-growth fintech lender originating approximately $250M annually, driven by a high-performing and tenured sales organization. With fast sales cycles, average loan sizes around $75K, and ~100 loans closed per month, we operate at a fast pace with a strong emphasis on efficiency, results, and innovation. Our environment is collaborative, high-energy, and performance-driven — ideal for leaders who thrive in fast-moving settings.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Vice President of Sales to lead and optimize a well-established sales organization. This is not a typical growth-at-all-costs role — it’s about scaling sustainably by refining processes, increasing funnel efficiency, and leveraging modern tools and data. This executive will be central to driving strategy, execution, and collaboration across the company.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
-
Lead and mentor a mature sales team: Director of Sales, Director of Renewals, 3 Sales Managers, and 20+ Account Executives.
-
Oversee Training & Development team (5 Sales Associates) and offshore Sales Operations support.
-
Build and execute strategic roadmaps to drive team efficiency, productivity, and revenue growth.
Operational Excellence
-
Own departmental budgeting, forecasting, KPI setting, and team capacity planning.
-
Optimize the full sales funnel by identifying gaps and integrating workflow and automation tools (including AI where applicable).
-
Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance to align go-to-market execution with company objectives.
Execution & Enablement
-
Lead hiring, training, coaching, and performance management across all levels of the sales team.
-
Promote a collaborative, energetic culture through hands-on leadership and in-office presence.
-
Ensure CRM accuracy (Salesforce), pipeline hygiene, and reporting clarity across teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
-
10+ years of sales leadership experience, with a proven track record at the VP or SVP level.
-
Expertise in fast-cycle, transactional sales models (non-SaaS) — ideal for high-velocity sales organizations.
-
Strong understanding of fintech, lending, or financial services; lending experience is a plus but not required.
-
Data- and operations-driven leader with experience using CRM, automation, and analytics to guide decisions.
-
Demonstrated ability to lead tenured teams and bring structure, accountability, and innovation to mature departments.
-
A natural collaborator with a bias for action and a focus on outcomes.
Work Environment
-
In-office requirement: Monday–Thursday — culture, performance, and coaching are rooted in physical collaboration.
-
Opportunity to shape the future of a key business unit in a fast-moving and financially meaningful environment.

Although the transition is underway, we are prioritizing quality over speed and are open to a 60-day timeline for the right candidate.
